　　8月2日，第五届“梦百合杯”世界围棋公开赛本赛在郑州开幕。此次赛事由中国围棋协会、梦百合家居科技股份有限公司主办，河南省围棋协会承办，吸引中国、韩国、日本、北美洲、欧洲等国家与地区的64位世界顶尖棋手参加。

　　On August 2nd, the 5th "MLILY Cup" World Weiqi Open Tournament kicked off in Zhengzhou city, Central China's Henan province. The event was hosted by the Chinese Weiqi Association, MLILY, and organized by Henan Weiqi Association, attracting 64 top weiqi players from China, South Korea, Japan, North America, Europe, and other countries and regions.

　　第五届“梦百合杯”世界围棋公开赛本赛是我省举办的首个世界性围棋比赛。赛事持续4天，8月3日开始在中州假日酒店中原厅举行64强赛，8月4日至6日在索菲特国际酒店白云阁举行32强赛和16强赛。柯洁、朴廷桓以往赛事捧杯者再度参与，古力、山下敬吾、元晟溱等实力老将共襄盛会。

　　The 5th "MLILY Cup" World Weiqi Open Tournament is the first global Weiqi event held in Henan province. The top 8 will be selected to participate in the following competitions within four days. Ke Jie, Park Junghwan, Gu Li, Yamashita Keigo and other strong players also attended the event.

　　“再次来到河南，内心非常地激动和感动。”中国围棋协会主席常昊表示，希望各位棋手珍惜这次比赛机会，充分发挥水平，战胜自我，超越自我。

　　"I was very excited and moved to come to Henan again," Chang Hao, newly inaugurated chairman of the Chinese Weiqi Association, said that he hoped all players would compete bravely, perform beyond their limits and complete their tasks successfully.

　　“河南围棋文化氛围真是太浓厚了，非常感谢中国提供的赛事平台，让我们能够相互交流。”韩国选手洪性志九段激动地说，中国棋手水平很高，希望和他们多多切磋，也希望在河南交到更多朋友。

　　South Korean player Hong Seong Ji(홍성지) said that Weiqi culture is apparent everywhere in Henan, and he is very grateful to China for providing a platform for weiqi players to communicate with each other.

　　近年来，我省厚植中原围棋文化土壤，推动围棋事业实现快速发展。“国手赛”“荷花杯”“棋圣战”第35届“晚报杯”等全国品牌赛事落户河南，河南体育品牌影响力进一步提升，围棋也成为大众获取精神滋养、提升文化素养的重要途径。

　　In recent years, Henan province has fostered the weiqi culture, maintaining a sound development momentum. Many influential weiqi events have been held, and the chessboard game has become a meaningful way to raise the public artistic ability.
